Shah commenced the day with the inauguration of 350 newly built houses under the Slum Rehabilitation Scheme, part of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. In another vital development for the housing sector, 861 Economically Weaker Section (EWS) houses were unveiled by Shah in the Thaltej ward.
