Mumbai: The South MetroCity Association of Realtors (SMART) has officially launched its innovative Learning & Development initiative, 'UPGRADING - A Realtor-Led Redevelopment Programme.' Designed to enhance the capabilities of real estate professionals, this program aims to equip agents, brokers, and real estate advisors with a comprehensive understanding of the evolving property landscape in Mumbai. The initiative comes at a critical juncture as the real estate sector experiences rapid changes driven by economic growth, infrastructure development, and shifting consumer preferences.

The inaugural event for the 'UPGRADING' program took place at the President Hotel in Cuffe Parade, gathering over 150 industry professionals and stakeholders. Dr. Niranjan Hiranandani, Chairman of NAREDCO, addressed the audience, emphasizing the transformative nature of India's real estate market. He pointed out that new asset classes, such as managed living spaces and mixed-use developments, are reshaping industry dynamics.
