In Delhi, a significant milestone has been achieved in the real estate sector as NBCC (India) successfully conducted an e-auction for 417 residential units, amassing a remarkable ₹1,045.4 crore. This successful auction not only underscores the ongoing recovery of stalled housing projects but also reflects the confidence of buyers in the revitalization efforts of the NBCC amidst challenging circumstances.

The sold units are located within two prominent housing developments in Noida and Greater Noida West. Specifically, the properties include those at Aspire Leisure Valley, comprising towers 7 and 8, and Aspire Silicon City, which features tower 5 in Phase IV of Sector 76, Noida. The e-auction facilitated a competitive bidding environment, showcasing the demand for quality housing in these regions.

As per the auction agreement, NBCC stands to earn a marketing fee of 1% of the total sale value, translating to an estimated ₹10.45 crore in revenue. This income will contribute to the company’s broader strategy of funding ongoing project completions and addressing statutory dues, ensuring that the interests of homebuyers are prioritized.

These Aspire projects are part of the larger initiative to revive the stalled residential portfolio of the former Amrapali Group, which has been under the supervision of NBCC since a Supreme Court ruling in 2019. The court directed NBCC to manage the completion of these projects, ensuring that homebuyers receive their properties in a timely manner.

Since taking control, NBCC has been proactive in executing construction activities while monetizing unsold inventory through such e-auctions. This approach not only facilitates the completion of projects but also aids in delivering homes to existing allottees, reaffirming NBCC’s commitment to protecting consumer interests and restoring confidence in the real estate market.
