Nalgonda district has secured the second position in Telangana for the effective implementation of the Indiramma Housing Scheme, trailing only Narayanpet district. Telangana Housing Corporation Managing Director P. Goutham praised the district officials for their exemplary work in sanctioning, grounding, disbursing payments, and overseeing the progress of the Indiramma houses. Out of 19,625 houses sanctioned, 17,247 have been allotted to eligible beneficiaries, with 13,581 houses already grounded. Currently, construction is underway on 10,116 houses at various stages. Notably, ₹80 crore was disbursed to beneficiaries in September alone to support ongoing construction efforts. District Collector Ila Tripati and Project Director Raj Kumar received commendations for their dedication and leadership in reaching this significant milestone.
