In a significant real estate transaction, renowned celebrity manager Pooja Gurnani has acquired three luxury apartments in Mumbai for a total of ₹38 crore. The property documents indicate that each of the apartments boasts a generous carpet area of 1,511.15 square feet, complemented by an additional balcony space of 81.16 square feet. Collectively, this results in a sprawling total area of 4,776 square feet across all three units. The deal, which was finalized on Tuesday, incurred a stamp duty of ₹2.16 crore and a registration fee amounting to ₹90,000, reflecting the high-value nature of the transaction in the competitive Mumbai real estate market.

The apartments are situated in a building currently under construction, with completion anticipated by December 2028. In addition to the residential units, the purchase includes six designated car parking spaces, an essential feature for luxury urban living. According to CRE Matrix, the developer is undertaking a redevelopment project of the historic Varun building, having acquired development rights from the Varun Co-operative Housing Society Limited. This redevelopment is expected to enhance the value of the property and attract affluent residents seeking modern amenities in a prime location.

Pooja Gurnani is recognized as one of the highest-paid celebrity managers in India, largely due to her pivotal role in managing the career of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan. Her influence extends beyond professional realms, as illustrated by her recently renovated home that features a stylish interior designed by Gauri Khan. The living space is characterized by its tasteful mint-colored sofas, elegant wooden tables adorned with vintage lampshades, and vibrant indoor plants, reflecting a blend of comfort and sophistication.

In a related context, Shah Rukh Khan has also made notable real estate moves in recent years. In February 2025, he opted to rent two luxury duplexes in the upscale Pali Hill area of Khar for ₹8.67 crore over a three-year lease. This decision was made in light of ongoing renovation and extension work on his own annexe. The duplexes, located within the Puja Casa building, span four floors and were rented from producer Vashu Bhagnani's family, with monthly rents set at ₹11.54 lakh and ₹12.61 lakh, respectively. These transactions underscore the substantial investment activity in Mumbai's luxurious residential sector, driven by high-profile personalities and their evolving living requirements.
