Mumbai, the bustling financial capital of India, is known for its dynamic real estate market. In a significant development, the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) is set to launch 973 residential plots this month near the Noida International Airport. This initiative is poised to enhance residential options in the rapidly growing region, especially as the airport is expected to commence operations by February 2026.

The residential plots vary in size from 162 to 290 square metres (sqms), catering to a diverse range of buyers. Specifically, the offering includes 476 plots of 162 sqms, 4 plots of 183 sqms, 4 plots of 184 sqms, 481 plots of 200 sqms, 6 plots of 223 sqms, and 2 plots measuring 290 sqms. These strategically located plots are distributed across sectors 15C, 18, and 24A, providing proximity to essential amenities and the upcoming airport.

In an effort to streamline the launch process, YEIDA officials have emphasized the importance of adhering to regulatory requirements. According to RK Singh, the CEO of YEIDA, the authority is in the process of securing registration from the Uttar Pradesh Real Estate Regulatory Authority (UPRERA), a necessary step before the official launch of the housing scheme. This move aims to ensure transparency and protect the interests of potential buyers.

In a noteworthy aspect of this initiative, a portion of the plots has been reserved for specific groups. 17.5% of the plots are designated for farmers whose land has been acquired for development, while 5% are allocated for industrialists with operational units in the YEIDA area. The remaining 77.5% of the plots will be available to the general public, promoting inclusivity within this ambitious project.

In the past year alone, YEIDA has allocated 65 industrial plots across various categories, generating significant revenue of approximately ₹2,200 crore. This includes the establishment of a medical device park and other industrial projects, underscoring YEIDA's commitment to fostering economic growth in the region. As the launch date approaches, prospective buyers and investors are encouraged to stay informed about this unique opportunity to secure residential plots in a prime location near the Noida International Airport.
