Amaravati – Andhra Pradesh IT and Industries Minister Nara Lokesh recently emphasized the state's impressive industrial growth, taking a subtle jab at neighboring states. In a social media post, Lokesh remarked, "They say Andhra food is spicy. Seems some of our investments are too. Some neighbours are already feeling the burn!" This statement coincides with Google's announcement of a $15 billion investment over five years to establish an artificial intelligence (AI) data center in Andhra Pradesh, marking the company's largest investment in India to date. The project involves a strategic partnership with the Adani Group and Airtel to develop the necessary infrastructure, including the creation of a new international subsea gateway, further solidifying Andhra Pradesh's position as a key player in the technology and industrial sectors.
